Worried about end of Key Stage assessments?  Need a refresher course to reinvigorate your teaching and learning of this year group?  Would like some ideas on teaching strategies to support delivering the English and Mathematics curriculum?  This course will give you what you need.

The training will address the following:

  • Understanding your data and learning from KS2 2019 tests and outcomes, in order to plan effectively for your pupils
  • Growing familiarity with the Year 6 National Curriculum requirements for English and Mathematics
  • Exploring benchmarks for end of Autumn, Spring and Summer Terms
  • Developing planning to meet the expectation of the year group through active engagement and meaningful learning experiences
  • Increasing understanding of what is meant by ‘challenge’ in English and Mathematics curriculum
